Martín Piroyansky is an Argentine director, screenwriter, actor and producer whose irreverent style and distinctive sense of humor have made him a key figure in his country’s indie film and comedy scene. Born in Buenos Aires, he began acting at twelve and went on to star in films including XXY, for which he won a Premio Sur for Best Supporting Actor, and LA ARAÑA VAMPIRO, which earned him Best Actor at BAFICI, the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema. He moved behind the camera with VOLEY, which he wrote, directed and starred in, and has since created and directed the series PSICONAUTAS and PORNO Y HELADO. That same comedic instinct now drives his work in music and branded storytelling. In 2025 he directed PAPOTA for CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, taking home two Latin Grammys — Best Short Form Music Video for #Tetas and Best Long Form Music Video for the PAPOTA short film — along with a Cíclope Latino for Best Music Short Film.
